Born in Detroit, transplanted to Florida at 10 years old, while also spending stretches of time in Georgia, Charity Cox is an eclectic mix of Motown meets Americana, a splash of country, and a whole lot of soul. She’s not afraid to write a song that voices an honest perspective about hurt and recovery. A late bloomer, she got her start after her mother and uncle passed a week apart in early 2019. With her faith lighting the path, she took off running towards everything she didn’t want to regret. Performing all over Central Florida, she soaking it in, writing about the journey along the way. 

With only seven singles released, and hundreds of live shows under her belt, she has been recognized by Tiny Desk Central Florida, and been given the “One to Watch” badge by NSAI. Most recently, she won a Song of the Year Josie, Folk/Americana, for her newest single, “Sober.” Equipped with a guitar, piano, heart and soul, she’s loving the journey and excited to see where the road bends.
